Within the framework of the \u201cAvenue du Roi\u201d Urban Renovation Contract, the colonnade is identified as a link in the network of future open spaces and mobility infrasructures in the Avant-Senne. It is intented to symbolize an entry and exit point for the future linear park of the Avant-Senne from the Tunnel des V\u00e9t\u00e9rinaires to the Avenue du Pont du Luttre in Forest.<\/p>\n<p>The municipality of Saint-Gilles is looking for a multidisciplinary team for the minor renovation and the enhancement of the qualities of the colonnade. On the one hand the aims are to respond to the challenges of the Urban Renovation Contract, to enhance the sense of security of its users by renewing the lighting, to improve the cleanliness of the site and to resolve the conflict of use between pedestrians and cyclists.
