The aim of the public authorities is to &#8216;protect&#8217; them and implement strategies to provide such facilities within the city for the benefit of its citizens. In line with this vision, the Region is committed to promoting the \u201cNeighbourhood City\u201d by encouraging a functional mix and improving local quality of life, with a focus on providing appropriate amenities. The Amenities Taskforce was set up to this end in 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The Amenities Task Force (<em>Task Force Equipements<\/em> or TFE), which is made up of various government departments and operational players, aims to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>clarify the Region&#8217;s needs in terms of public amenities<\/li>\n<li>identify and collate requests for space to develop amenities<\/li>\n<li>serve as an intermediary between the available land and applications from potential amenity developers<\/li>\n<li>test the spatial, operational and technical feasibility of the amenities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As part of its role as coordinator, perspective.brussels wishes to support the work of the Amenities Task Force by launching three specific public procurement contracts. The aims of these contracts are to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>develop strategic, regulatory and typological recommendations for amenities<\/li>\n<li>draw up a catalogue of the different types of amenities and recommendations for pooling these amenities<\/li>\n<li>provide support for amenity developers through spatial and technical feasibility studies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in more than one of these contracts, you should submit a specific expression of interest for each one separately.<\/p>\n<p>For more information about these three contracts and to express your interest, please follow the links below:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/bma.brussels\/en\/study-neighbourhood-city\/\">Study of approaches to the Neighbourhood City and formulation of strategic and regulatory recommendations, including for amenities.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/bma.brussels\/en\/typological-amenities\/\">Catalogue of types of amenities and recommendations for the pooling of amenities.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/bma.brussels\/en\/feasibility-amenities\/\">Spatial, technical and financial feasibility studies for public interest amenities.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Public amenities are a so-called \u201cweak\u201d urban function in that they do not enjoy the support of market forces.
