Although this park is located in the center of the Bizet Sustainable Neighborhood Contract perimeter, it has been identified as one of the &#8220;barriers&#8221; of the area. The new project launched by the municipality of Anderlecht aims to improve this situation by creating a new access to the park to reduce its isolation. By acquiring the garage on Petite rue du Moulin, which borders the park, the municipality seizes the opportunity to create a new amenity hub linked to the park and its new access.<\/p>\n<p>To strengthen the existing local dynamics in Anderlecht, this new facility will be dedicated to urban agriculture and sustainable food. It will include a nursery, a sales point for local products, storage spaces and support for agricultural functions, as well as a new building housing training spaces, offices, and multipurpose rooms. Through this project, the municipality aims to emphasize sustainability. This means designing a sustainable building, particularly in its technical aspects, and adopting a process that promotes co-creation and the reuse of materials.
