{"id":26426,"date":"2024-08-28T10:03:10","date_gmt":"2024-08-28T08:03:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bma.brussels\/?p=26426"},"modified":"2025-10-02T11:13:24","modified_gmt":"2025-10-02T09:13:24","slug":"rotor-en","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bma.brussels\/en\/rotor-en\/","title":{"rendered":"ROTOR"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Rotor DC, well known for its pioneering role in the re-use of building components in Brussels, is using its expertise under the ERDF programme to encourage the development of circular building practices by setting up a Circular Hub on the Bordet site.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of this hub is to boost the supply of circular services and materials, create conditions conducive to experimentation and the emergence of new practices, and encourage new players to make a full commitment to reuse.<\/p>\n<p>The aim is to build on what already exists to create a dynamic facility that is not only functional, but also a showcase for the Region. This will be achieved by maintaining and renovating the existing buildings, developing part of the site to enable Rotor DC to continue its growth, developing another part to accommodate companies working in the field of the circular economy, and developing the remaining greenfield areas to welcome the public and maintain and encourage biodiversity.<\/p>\n<p>Rotor DC is looking for a team of designers who are prepared to let material opportunities guide the design of the project and are enthusiastic about sharing and developing the project in co-creation with Rotor DC.
