Through an analysis of <strong>121 carefully selected examples<\/strong>, <em>Brussels Housing<\/em> traces the emergence and transformations of Brussels&#8217; residential architecture, shedding light on the city\u2019s evolution and the challenges of designing urban housing.<\/p>\n<p>This expanded second edition includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A new chapter by Kristiaan Borret, <em>Innovating in a Limited Territory<\/em>, which explores contemporary housing challenges in Brussels in the face of spatial and regulatory constraints.<\/li>\n<li>13 new case studies, further enriching the analysis of Brussels\u2019 residential typologies.<\/li>\n<li>New photographs by Maxime Delvaux, offering an updated visual perspective on housing architecture in Brussels.<\/li>\n<li>A project index, for easier finding the different typologies covered in the book.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We invite you to the book launch of Brussels Housing. Atlas of Residential Building Types (Birkh\u00e4user, 2025) on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 7 PM.
