It forms part of the wider transformation of the Slaughterhouse site.

The procedure launched is a DBFMO contract: the selected partner will be responsible for the design, construction, financing, maintenance and exploitation of the infrastructure. The project aims at teams and operators who can combine architectural and technical expertise, construction experience, financial knowledge and know-how regarding the maintenance and operation of aquatic facilities.

The programme combines several functions. It provides for at least one 25-metre indoor pool, suitable for school swimming lessons, clubs and individual use, and a dedicated area specifically for swimming education.
