Characterised by its isolation between city limits, infrastructures and large boulevards. The Magritte Sustainable Neighbourhood Contract therefore aims to resolve this situation by reconnecting the three hubs identified during the diagnostic phase. And it is now the “pivotal\u201d hub, the nerve centre for meetings and exchanges between the different sections of the public that make up the district, which is the subject of this new tender.<\/p>\n
The flagship project of this Neighbourhood Contract consists of the construction of a Community Centre and a Social Diversity Centre within the “pivotal” hub. The tender focuses on the “Social Diversity Centre” part, and more specifically on the bike-repair-caf\u00e9 and collective kitchen which will be combined with the main programme. This facility will be supervised by the voluntary sector but will mobilise the resources of local residents and neighbourhood users of the district while providing a special place for meetings and exchanges.<\/p>\n
The project will take place in the small street Esseghem, more precisely in the small square where Jules Lahaye street crosses.<\/p>\n
MISSION AND SKILLS As the mission is part of a Sustainable Neighbourhood Contract, particular attention will be paid to the strict consideration of sustainability, citizen integration, social cohesion and the exemplary nature of the project. The contract project\u2019s draughtsman will also have to integrate his approach into the participatory framework specific to neighbourhood contracts.<\/p>\n The minimum skills required are as follows:
