De tentoonstelling \u201cSoft Power: The Brussels Way of Making the City\u201d in Basel, op initiatief van het Zwitserse architectuurmuseum S AM, belicht de essenti\u00eble voorwaarden voor een hoogwaardige architectuurcultuur aan de hand van het werk van BMA. De tentoonstelling opende op 18 oktober en loopt tot 16 maart 2025. Daarna zal ze rondreizen langs verschillende steden, met de bedoeling om een tussenstop te maken in Brussel.<\/p>\n

Het hele BMA-team was aanwezig op de vernissage. Het evenement was ook een gelegenheid voor de BMA om Beat Aeberhard, Kantonsbaumeister van Basel, en zijn team te ontmoeten. Twee dagen lang werd er gediscussieerd over Zwitserse en Belgische praktijken en knowhow, een interessante uitwisseling op het vlak van Europese stedenbouw. Er waren bijdragen van Beat Aeberhard, Lilitt Bollinger, Salome Bessenich en Kristiaan Borret, Tine Vandepaer, G\u00e9raldine Lacasse en Frederik Serroen, levendig gemodereerd door Andreas Ruby. De trip eindigde met een fietstocht door Basel, om talrijke iconische projecten en toekomstige ontwikkelingen van de stad te ontdekken.<\/p>\n

Deze tentoonstelling mag dan de werking van het BMA-team in de kijker zetten, het is vooral dankzij de dynamiek van de Brusselse architectuursc\u00e8ne en van alle actoren die de stad maken. Om de dialoog verder te zetten, komt de Baselse Kantonsbaumeister naar Brussel om deel te nemen aan een bijzonder evenement op 21 november, wanneer we het einde mandaat van Kristiaan Borret zullen vieren.<\/p>\n
