De Universit\u00e9 libre de Bruxelles (ULB) start met de ontwerpfase van het Palais Collectif, een nieuw evolutief en hybride universitair gebouw in het hart van de Plaine Campus in Elsene. Opgevat als een nieuwe centrale plek, beantwoordt dit project aan de nood om de campus uit te rusten met een verbindende ruimte, geschikt voor zowel academische activiteiten als informele gebruiken van de universitaire gemeenschap.<\/p>\n

Het gebouw, met een bruto oppervlakte van ongeveer 6.000 m\u00b2, zal drie hoofdcomponenten omvatten: de auditoria, die zowel hoorcolleges als conferenties of academische evenementen moeten kunnen huisvesten; een ruim en polyvalent foyer, dat zal dienen als centrale ontmoetingsruimte maar ook als plek voor tentoonstellingen, informeel werk en evenementen; en tot slot een cluster voor onderzoek en laboratoria. De ULB beschouwt deze nieuwe infrastructuur als een overdekt openbaar plein, open naar de campus en de stad, om de uitwisseling tussen studenten, docenten, onderzoekers en externe partners te bevorderen.<\/p>\n

Voor de realisatie van het Palais Collectif heeft de ULB gekozen voor een team dat ontwerp en uitvoering combineert. Het geselecteerde team moet bestaan uit een aannemer van klasse 8 en een multidisciplinair ontwerpteam dat expertise omvat in architectuur, speciale technieken, stabiliteit, EPB, akoestiek, brandveiligheid, bodemsanering, landschap, inclusie en BIM.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
