De wijk wordt gekenmerkt door open ruimten en kwalitatieve maar weinig opgewaardeerde bebouwde zones en een sterk uitgesproken topografie. Het herontwikkelingsproject van de Homborchveldwijk wil voortbouwen op de aanwezige kwaliteiten van de site (belang van het landschap, verhouding tussen de leegten en bebouwde delen, diversiteit van de ruimten, enz.) en die in de verf zetten.<\/p>\n<p>Het doel is om deze tuinwijk te verdichten met een 90-tal extra sociale of middelgrote woningen, zonder afbreuk te doen aan het landschapskarakter van de site. De bouwheer wil ook een gemengd woonproject in de wijk opzetten, dat gericht is op het gemeenschapsaspect. Het is de bedoeling om er intergenerationele woonvormen en woongelegenheden voor zelfstandig wonende ouderen te bevorderen. Het programma omvat verder ook \u00abmoduleerbare\u00bb buurtvoorzieningen voor de inwoners.<\/p>\n<p>Het doel is om een wijk te cre\u00ebren met een duurzaam landschap, waar sociale interactie tussen nieuwe en oude bewoners wordt gestimuleerd.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Het adviescomit\u00e9 vond plaats op 30 maart 2018.
