The end of the year is a good moment to look back on a period of transition for the BMA team. At the end of August, we officially said goodbye to Kristiaan Borret. The team continued its work without a BMA until December, before welcoming Lisa De Visscher as the new BMA on 15 December, who has recently taken up her position. Since her appointment, more than 30 advisory opinions have already been signed, in order to unblock pending situations as quickly as possible.
During these months, the team continued to follow ongoing competitions and launched new projects. We will start the new year with a highlight: the exhibition Soft Power Sauvage, which will take place at the Brasserie de la Senne from Thursday 29 January to Sunday 1 February. Soft Power Sauvage is the exhibition of the S AM (Swiss Architecture Museum) that was presented last year in Basel, Switzerland. Before continuing its journey to the LUCA (Luxembourg Center for Architecture) in Luxembourg, the BMA team intercepts the exhibition and invites you to discover a shorter, more spontaneous and wilder version.
We look forward to welcoming many of you at the opening on 29 January!
In the meantime, the office will be closed and will reopen on Monday 05 January.
