Dear all,

As every summer, the BMA team is taking a short break. Our office will be closed from 20 July to 16 August. We will be back on Monday 17 August, refreshed and ready to begin a new season.

This year also marks an important milestone. It has now been seven months since Lisa De Visscher took up her role as Bouwmeester Maître Architecte. These first months have provided an opportunity to become familiar with the many facets of the Brussels-Capital Region, to meet the many people and organisations shaping it, and to gradually develop her vision in continuity with the work carried out by the team.

Before the summer break, we are pleased to share our 2025 Activity Report, now available exclusively online. The report looks back on a pivotal year marked by projects, competitions, collaborations and transitions.

Finally, you can still complete our call for contributions questionnaire for a BMA article to be published in the next issue of A+. Many thanks to everyone who has already taken the time to respond. To give as many people as possible the opportunity to participate, we have extended the deadline until 26 August at 3:00 p.m.

We wish you a wonderful summer filled with discoveries, encounters, rest and, hopefully, a little coolness.
