Due to an error in the official publication by Citydev, the call for tenders for this contract is being reissued.
The project is being developed at 100-104 Rue de Belgrade, not far from Gare du Midi. This old printing works represents a notable example of industrial heritage. It currently houses the CUBE, a centre for urban expression, as well as a community recycling centre. The renovation – an extension funded through the ‘Avenue du Roi’ urban renovation contract – will completely reconfigure the recycling centre while adding 20 housing units and meeting high standards in terms of circular economy and reuse.
Citydev is seeking full teams to design, deliver and market around 3,200 m² of subsidised housing units for purchase and to design and deliver 1,500 m² of space that will house the recycling centre.
The teams applying for this public works contract must be made up of three entities: a developer, a building contractor and a multi-disciplinary design team. This team must include expertise in architecture, stability, special techniques, energy efficiency, acoustics, soil pollution, health and safety, building surveying, circular economy, BIM management and landscape architecture.
In addition to the need for urban integration and to integrate functions smoothly, the client highlights their desire to make the project an innovative example of circularity in construction.
