Call for applications to form a selection committee to support the appointment procedure of the next bouwmeester maître architecte (BMA).
Last week, the call for applications for the next BMA was published. Today, it is possible to participate in this process by responding to the call for the composition of the selection committee. Indeed, in the interest of transparency and openness, the Brussels government has decided to create a selection committee, composed of specific experts in areas relevant to the BMA’s field of competence and/or public management. Therefore, a call for applications has been launched to join this selection committee.
The selection committee will have the mission to advise and assist the contracting authorities Perspective and the Region throughout the entire procedure, both for the candidate selection phase and the award phase, and if necessary, the negotiation phase. This committee should give a motivated advice. However, the final decision on the designation will rest with the contracting authorities, in compliance with the award criteria.
TO BE A CANDIDATE :
- You must have, as an expert, specific expertise related to the areas within the competence of the BMA and/or public management
- You must be proficient in French or Dutch and have sufficient knowledge of the other language
- You cannot be a member of a ministerial cabinet or hold a political mandate
- You cannot participate in the public procurement process for the appointment of the next BMA
