The La Braise non-profit organisation brings together a set of services intended for people with a brain injury acquired as a result of a head trauma, stroke, encephalopathy, etc.
Currently located on two sites in Anderlecht, La Braise is investing in a third site to offer new services to its target sector and their families and to build a day and accommodation centre.
The day centre welcomes 15 full-time or part-time cerebral-injured adults who participate in group and individual activities during the day (Monday to Friday). As for the new accommodation centre, it will offer a year-round welcome, day and night.
This new Centre will be built on the lot located at the corner of Victor Voets Square and Avenue du Docteur Lemoine. The project is expected to provide for an outdoor space and fit into this green and residential context. In addition, given the specificity of the target audience, the entire project will be designed for people with reduced mobility.
The mission has been entrusted to the Fonds du Logement, which will take charge of the entire contract and cede its real right to La Braise after receipt of the work. The Fonds du Logement is therefore looking for complete teams to design and build a day and accommodation centre for around fifteen highly dependent adults with brain injuries and head traumas.
The teams applying for this works contract must be made up of 2 components: the first component a multidisciplinary “project developer” team, comprising skills in architecture, stability, special techniques, acoustics, BEP and health and safety coordination, and the second being a construction company.
The contract includes a firm section for obtaining the permit and a conditional section for completion of the work.
