MUNICIPAL PLAN FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AN ACTION PLAN FOR THE CITY OF BRUSSELS

The City of Brussels is currently drawing up its new Municipal Sustainable Development Plan “The City in the Making”. The purpose of this strategic document is to respond to the current and future challenges facing the city in the coming years. After carrying out a diagnosis and determining the city’s major ambitions, it is now time to draw up a specific action plan at neighbourhood level.

This phase includes the formulation of strategic and / or operational objectives, transversal to the whole territory or declined at different scales of it (metropolitan, regional, municipal or district) and the identification of the actions to be implemented for the achieve. These objectives and actions will be accompanied by indicators which should make it possible to assess the progress of the plan during its monitoring phase.

To help with this work and the organisation of the associated participatory process, the City of Brussels is seeking to enlist the services of a team.

SKILLS 
– Experience in territorial planning (town planning, mobility, environment, etc.)
– Experience in participation
– Experience in cartography and GIS data processing and analysis
– Bilingual French and Dutch

AWARD CRITERIA 
– Quality of the application letter (20%);
– Quality of the action plan methodology (40%);
– Quality of the participatory process (30%);
– Credibility of budget and planning (10%).

FEES: The value of the contract is set at 134,450 euros, not including VAT.
GRANT: Expenses of 1,500 euros will be awarded to each team invited to tender that submits a regular bid but is not selected on the basis of the award criteria.
